JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
CASS Wireless is seeking experienced DICI PICW professionals to join our growing telecommunications delivery team across the UK.
This role is responsible for the safe management and successful delivery of mobile network deployment, upgrade, commissioning, integration, and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with hands-on technical expertise across multi-vendor mobile network environments.
You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Assume responsibility for site activities under the DICI framework.
Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and specialist contractors.
Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved MOPs, RAMS, and client requirements.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily safety briefings.
Verify site readiness, permits, and access arrangements before work commences.
Coordinate installation, upgrade, commissioning, integration, and maintenance activities.
Support and oversee commissioning and integration activities across multi-vendor platforms.
Perform and support call testing, service verification, and acceptance testing.
Monitor site progress and provide updates to project teams and client representatives.
Identify and mitigate risks affecting safety, quality, or programme delivery.
Complete site documentation, quality records, and project close-out packs.
Promote a positive safety culture and maintain professional standards on site.
Essential Requirements
Current DICI PICW accreditation.
Proven experience performing the PICW role within the UK telecommunications industry.
Strong knowledge of DICI procedures and governance.
Experience commissioning and integrating multi-vendor mobile network equipment.
Hands-on experience installing, commissioning, and integrating BBUs.
Experience working with vendors such as Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Samsung, or similar.
Knowledge of LTE and 5G network infrastructure.
Experience supporting live network deployment, upgrade, swap, and modernisation projects.
Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, documentation, and work instructions.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel and work nationwide.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Climber and Rescue Certification.
RF Awareness.
First Aid at Work.
SSSTS or SMSTS.
Manual Handling.
Asbestos Awareness.
Rooftop Safety.
NRSWA accreditation.
Vendor-specific commissioning and integration certifications.
Operator-specific competencies and permissions.
